An impressive Damiano Phiri (18) got his first under 20 national team call up after a good year at Zambian giants, Green Buffaloes. The under 20 Zambia national team is currently participating at the COSAFA U20 tournament in South Africa.
Damiano started his career at BSA when he was 13 years old. He quickly rose to senior ranks at BSA due to his hard work and good leadership skills. Damiano recently completed his grade 12 at Kabulonga boys where he also played in the school team. Damiano has in the past been selected to represent Zambia in Brazil as a youth player and he has been a great peer leader for both BSA and Grassroot Soccer.
