Welcome to Breakthrough Chiparamba Sports Academy (BCSA), a community sports program aimed at providing sports opportunities to young Zambians between 4 and 20 years of age. BCSA innovatively employs sport to foster resiliency in young people as they are engaged in sport and community development initiatives. The organisation concerns itself with a broad gamut of social issues, of which its main programmes include, youth leadership development; community sports development; school sponsorship; health education; environmental clean-up; and football league development in refugee communities. Furthermore, BCSA is heavily involved in the coordination of the Zambian Street Football Network, a project supported by FIFA under the Football For Hope project. BCSA's vision is to grow and become a pioneer in the use of sport especially football for development at the grassroots level. So far, it has demonstrated the effectiveness of incorporating social messages into a game so many Zambian youths love.
